Tips For A Cosy Night In

Every once in a while we all need to unwind and take some time to relax. Make sure that you do take some time out occasionally to give yourself a bit of a pamper/relaxation night. These are my tips for a quiet, cosy pamper night in.

1. Take your makeup off, this should be the first thing you do! If you've had makeup on all day it will feel so good to take it off, and make your face all refreshed and not like you've got cake icing slowly sliding down your face...

2.  Have a bath! It will relax your whole body, add a lush bath bomb or swish a bubble bar around to help relax you. While you're in the bath you could catch up with your favourite YouTubers, my personal favourite are the SacconeJolys. Another thing you could do is to put a face mask on while in the bath and it is a good idea to choose one that suits your skin type, such as if you have a few breakouts you want to clear up or if you have dry skin, or if you just want to give your skin that extra boost, it's good to use one for that reason. Lush do some really good face masks, so go and have a look at them, there is one for everybody!

3. Once you've had your lovely hot bubble bath, put your favourite comfy Christmassy pyjamas on, and go and choose a few Christmas DVDs that you can watch and get them out ready.

4. Treat yourself to a hot chocolate, and go all out! Put whipped cream, add marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles, WHATEVER you want as a treat. I love to use Cadburys for my hot chocolate, but there are lots of others to choose from.

5. When you've made your hot chocolate, put your chosen DVD on, mine would be Elf (obviously), turn out the lights, just have your Christmas tree lights on sparkling in the background. Get comfy on the sofa under your festive blanket and watch your film.

You're basically in mini home-made winter wonderland in the comfort of your own home!

What are you all doing for Christmas this year?

P.S. Sorry for the lack of blog posts and no pictures at the moment on this post, but it is Christmas and I am super busy, as I'm sure you understand! :)
Xx
